Refutation of Sohaib Saeed's statement:

بسم الله الرحمن الرحيم و الصلاة و السلام على أشرف الأنبياء و المرسلين: سيدنا و حبيبنا محمد،
أما بعد:
السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركته
This misguided brother Sohaib Saeed spoke without knowledge but takes his understanding from "'Ilmul Kalaam", believing that his brain is sufficient to prove his point...Sobahan Allah!!
He wrote: "The same applied to the term “Abrahamic faiths”[...] After all, the Prophet Ibrahim only had one faith! When I tried to explain the nuances in this term – which, I agree, can be misunderstood – saying that the scholar obviously meant that Jews, Christians and Muslims all trace their spiritual heritage back to Abraham"
REFUTATION OF HIS STATEMENT
[Tafseer Ibn Kathir]: "Disputing with the Jews and Christians About the Religion of Ibrahim" [Surah 3 v.65 to 68]
Muhammad bin Ishaq bin Yasar reported that Ibn `Abbas said, "The Christians of Najran and Jewish rabbis gathered before the
Messenger of Allah and disputed in front of him. The rabbis said, `Ibrahim was certainly Jewish.' The Christians said, `Certainly, Ibrahim was Christian.' So Allah sent down:
"O people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians)! Why do you dispute about Ibrahim,"
meaning:
`How is it that you, Jews, claim that Ibrahim was Jew, although he lived before Allah sent down the Tawrah to Musa. How is it that you, Christians, claim that Ibrahim was Christian, although Christianity came after his time'' This is why Allah said,
"Have you then no sense"
Allah The Most High said,
"Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa", shunning Shirk and living in Iman,
"and he was not of the Mushrikin."
This Ayah is similar to the Ayah in Surat Al-Baqarah,
"And they say, "Be Jews or Christians, then you will be guided...''" [2:135].
Allah said next,
"Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim are those who followed him, and this Prophet and those who have believed. And Allah is the Wali (Protector and Helper) of the believers."
This Ayah means, "The people who have the most right to be followers of Ibrahim are those who followed his religion and this Prophet, Muhammad , and his Companions from the Muhajirin, Ansar and those who followed their lead.''
Sa`id bin Mansur recorded that Ibn Mas`ud said that the Messenger of Allah said,
"Every Prophet had a Wali (supporter, best friend) from among the Prophets. My Wali among them is my father Ibrahim, the Khalil (intimate friend) of my Lord, the Exalted and Most Honored"
The Prophet then recited,
"Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim are those who followed him..."
Elhamdulellah, dear sincere brothers and sisters, those verses refute the statements of this ikhwani blind-follower of Sohaib Saeed claiming: "[...] saying that the scholar obviously meant that "Jews, Christians and Muslims all trace their spiritual heritage back to Abraham"
THIS IS CLEARLY OPPOSING THE QUR'AN, because Allah The Most High says: (translation of the verse): "Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true Muslim Hanifa".
So those who turn themselves Jews or Christians, they did not followed their Prophets, because their Prophets were neither Jews nor Christians, but they were MUSLIMS, they followed the Religion of Abraham which was ISLAM, PURE MONOTHEISM.
Moreover Allah clearly stated:
[Surah 2 v. 62] "الَّذِينَ هَادُوا وَالنَّصَارَى"
"those who were Jews and Christians"
Ibn 'Abbass (may Allah be pleased wth me) in his Tafseer [explanation of the Quran] said:
{والذين هَادُواْ } مالوا عن دين موسى وهم اليهود الذين تهودوا { والنصارى } الذين تنصروا
"those who were Jews" he said: they deviated from the religion of Mussa and they are the
Jews who made themselves Jews
"and Christians" he said: those who made themselves Christians
So how can Sohaib Saeed claim "Jews, Christians and Muslims all trace their
spiritual heritage back to Abraham" when the Companion of the Prophet Mohammed salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam,
'AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbass said that the Jews and Christians did not follow their Prophets, rather they deviated from their Path and made themselves Jews and Christians..., So the Jews and Christians
do not trace their spiritual heritage back to Abraham because Allah said: "Ibrahim was neither a Jew nor a Christian, but he was a true
Muslim Hanifa"
The only one who trace their spiritual heritage back to Abraham are those who obeyed to Allah by worshipping Allah ALONE by disbelieving in any worship for other than Allah, and followed their Prophets an Messengers. All of those are then Muslims, as Allah The Most High said:
"Verily, among mankind who have the best claim to Ibrahim are those who followed him, and this Prophet and those who have believed." [Surah 3 v.68]
Elhamdulellah, this is another refutation based on the UNDERSTANDING OF THE RIGHTEOUS PREDECESSORS (Salifs Saalih), so from where the misguided brother Sohaib Saeed took his understanding????
Dear brothers and sisters, this explains why I warned and keep on warning against Sohaib Saeed who is misguided and does not have correct knowledge, I just proved it from those refutations, he does not return to the correct understanding and believes that his little brain is sufficient!! ALLAHU AKBAR!! FEAR ALLAH and know that you will be judged and accountable the Day of judgement for what you said on Allah Sobahanuhu wa Ta'ala!!!
This Sohaib Saeed is MISGUIDED, he is following the sect of the "Muslims brotherhood" which is a deviant sect invented in the 1928 in Egypt, and this IS NOT THE WAY OF THE PROPHET salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam and his Companions and those who followed them Righteously.
Either Sohaib Saeed repents to Allah ALONE, and correct all his misguidances, ignorance widespread on the net and during his talks, and he has to repent to Allah from his innovated way of understanding the COMPLETE religion of Allah, or I will continue to warn against him and refute his deviance, and as the Prophet salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam said "[...] all innovations are deviance and all deviance is in hellfire"
Allah The Most High says (translation):
"Except for those who repent and correct themselves and make evident
[what they concealed].Those - I will accept their repentance, and I am the Accepting of repentance, the Merciful." [Surah 2 v.160]
O Muslims!! Do not be fooled by Sohaib Saeed, the deceptive Sohaib Saeed will always approach you with a smiling face, "he enters upon the slave with his plots by way of good character and a shining face. It is for this reason, the ‘Doctors of the Heart’ have advised (us) with turning away from the People of Innovation, not extending to them the greetings of salaams and happy, glowing faces or even meeting them (at all) unless it is with gloominess and sternness!” Taken from Ighaathatul Lahfaan 1/140 - Shaykh-ul Islam IbnTayymyiiah (rahimuhu Allah)

A question was asked to Shaykh Saalih al-Luhaydaan (hafidhuhu Allah):
"What is the ruling on the general folk who follow the deviated sects and theologies ?"
Shaykh Saalih al-Luhaydaan (hafidhuhu Allah)
answered:
"They are from them. Whoever views himself to be upon the creed of these misguided groups, even if he be a person from the general folk and does not know their particulars (of misguidance), he is still from them."
Wa Allahu A'lam, wal hamdulellah, wa salla Allah wa sallam 'ala nabiyyna Mohammad wa 'ala aalehee wa sahbehee ajma'een.
