I continue inshaAllah with the refutation of the brother Sohaib Saeed for his deviance regarding the concept of brotherhood.

Here are the proofs inshaAllah refuting

the fact that brotherhood can also apply in humanity:

Allah The Most High says (meaning of the translation) in the verse concerning Nooh and his son (surah 11 verse 42 to 46):

"And it sailed with them through waves like mountains, and Noah called to his son who was apart [from them],

"O my son, come aboard with us and be not with the disbelievers.""

Did the son of Nooh (aleyhi asalam) obeyed to the Messenger of Allah? Let's read what Allah The Most High says in the following verses:

"[But] he said, "I will take refuge on a mountain to protect me from the water." [Noah] said, "There is no protector today from the decree of Allah , except for whom He gives mercy." And the waves came between them, and he was among the drowned."

"And it was said, "O earth, swallow your water, and O sky, withhold [your rain]." And the water subsided, and the matter was accomplished, and the ship came to rest on the [mountain of] Judiyy.

And it was said, "Away with the wrongdoing people.""

"And Noah called to his Lord and said,

"My Lord, indeed my son is of my family; and indeed, Your promise is true; and You are the most just of judges!""

"He said, "O Noah, indeed he is not of your family; indeed, he is [one whose] work was other than righteous, so ask Me not for that about which you have no knowledge. Indeed, I advise you, lest you be among the ignorant.""

This clearly states that the "family bond" as "brother in humanity" cannot even be applied here, Allah The Most High clearly said (translation of the verse): "O Noah, indeed he is not of your family", because as Ibn 'Abbass (may Allah be please with him) said in his tafseer that the son of Noah used to practice Shirk (polytheism) and as Ibn Kathir said also in his tafseer that Allah The Most High promessed to save those who believe among the family of Noah.

Let's remember what Allah The Most High said (translated verse):

"The believers are but brothers" (Surah 49 verse 10)"

"The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His

Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives

in the cause of Allah . It is those who are the truthful." (Surah 49 verse 15).

Imaam Ahmad narrated: Ismaa’eel told us from al-Jareeri from Abu Sakhr al-‘Aqeeli, a man from among the Bedouin told me, I brought a milch-camel to Madeenah during the lifetime of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). When I had sold her, I said, “Let me meet this man [the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] and listen to him.” I met him walking between Abu Bakr and ‘Umar, and I followed them until they came to a Jewish man who was reading from a scroll of the Torah, consoling himself for the plight of his son who lay dying, a boy who was very handsome and good looking.

The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, ‘I ask you by the One Who revealed this Torah, do you find any mention in this book of yours of my attributes and my coming?’ The man gestured with his head to indicate ‘No’. But his son said, ‘Yes indeed, by the One who revealed the Torah, we do find mention of your attributes and your coming in our book, and I bear witness that there is no god except Allaah and that you are the Messenger of Allaah.’

[The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)] said,

Keep this Jew away from your brother.

Then he took care of shrouding him and praying [the funeral prayer] over him.”(Authentic Hadith)

Again this authentic narration reported by Imam Ahmad (rahimuhu Allah) clearly demonstrate the absence of brotherhood between the believers and the disbelievers. The saying of the Prophet salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam is clear:

Keep this Jew away from your brother.

The brother of the Prophet salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam and AbuBakar and 'Umar was the son of the jew who embraced Islam. While the father who remained on his disbelief was not a brother, the Prophet salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam distinguish the brother from the disbeliever, because Allah the Most High said (translated verse):

"The believers are but brothers" (Surah 49 verse 10)"

This hadith identifies along with what Allah The Most High said: the concept of brotherhood exists ONLY in faith.

Allah The Most High said (translation of the verse) about the Polytheists, as a condition to be our brothers:

"But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah,

then they are your brothers in religion"

As we underlined previously: the brotherhood can only be in faith as Allah The Most High said (translation of the verse):

"The believers are but brothers" (Surah 49 verse 10)"

So whoever come by claiming as Sohaib Saeed said that another type of brotherhood can exist, we reply that this opposes clearly what is apparent in the Qur'an and the Sunnah, and it opposes also the understanding of the Companions of the Prophet Mohammed salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam.

I think inshaAllah the proofs are sufficient, we can add as another proof the saying of Allah concerning the polytheists, to justify the fact that the concept of brotherhood can only be in the faith:

"But if they repent, establish prayer, and give zakah,

then they are your brothers in religion"

Allah The Most High established as a condition for the polytheists to become the brother of the muslims:

1. they repent from the polytheism

2. they establish prayer

3. they give zakah

If the three conditions are not met, then they will never be our brother, unless they fulfill the three conditions.

I have inshaAllah finished with the topic of "brotherhood concept", now I will refute Sohaib Saeed for another huge deviance he wrotes regarding "al wala wal bara" (alliance and disavowal).

Wa Allahu A'lam, wal hamdulellah, wa salla Allah wa sallam 'ala nabiyyna Mohammad wa 'ala aalehee wa sahbehee ajma'een.
