Refuting with Clear Proofs the Misguidances of
Sohaib Saeed
the "Muslim-Brotherhood's Sect Follower
Refutation (1a) of Sohaib Saeed's statement:
"At the same time, Muslims share with all other children of
Adam and Eve a family bond: brotherhood in humanity.":

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركته،

This article written by Sohaib Saeed clearly exposes what I mentionned in the
introduction about the way of understanding the Religion, and in this article
(i.e. that he wrote), he did not return to the understanding of the Salafs saalih,
but you realise that he just give his opinions from what he wants to prove.
His way is to believe in such and such concept, and then try to find in the
Qur'an what can support his view...
Sopahan Allah, I call this "following your desires".
While, someone should receive the knowledge to understand then believe, as
Allah the Most High says:
فَاعْلَمْ أَنَّهُ لَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ
"So know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity [worthy of worship]
except Allah"
And it refers that someone should receive the knowledge before speaking
and acting, as Imam Al Bukhari (rahimuhu Allah) said in one of his head of
chapter:
"the chapter of the knowledge before speaking and acting"
Sohaib Saeed said:
"Admittedly, there is a verse that seems to contradict
the notion of a universal human brotherhood"
Quoting the verses of Allah and then giving your own explanation is the level
of the ignorant who does not even know that there is a minhaj to follow...
Here there is no contradiction in the Qur'an between the verses when Allah
The Most High says (meaning of the translated verses):
"And to the 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud" (Surah 7 Verse 65)
or in another verse:
"When their brother
Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah ? (Surah 26 Verse 161)
with:
"The believers are but brothers" (Surah 49 verse 10)
If we continue to read the verses that follow in the same surah Allah The Most
High says (meaning of the translation of the verse):
"The believers are only the ones who have believed in Allah and His
Messenger and then doubt not but strive with their properties and their lives
in the cause of Allah . It is those who are the truthful." (Surah 49 verse 15).
Do the disbelievers (jews, christians, polytheists...) believe
in Allah and HisMessenger (salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam)?
The answer is NO. All the disbelievers and polytheists of the tribe of
Quoraish used to believe that Allah is their Creator, but they were not
believers in Allah and His Messenger (salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam), because
they were not worshipping Allah exclusively ALONE, and they were not
disbelieving in what is worshipped besides Allah, and they refused to believe
in the Prophet Mohammed salla Allah aleyhi wa sallam.
SO HOW CAN THE DISBELIEVERS
BE THE BROTHERS OF THE BELIEVERS????
Allah clearly said (verse translated): "The believers are but brothers",
Allah The Most High did not say: The believers and disbelievers are but
brothers...
...AstarfirAllah...
To understand the fact that there is no contradiction, we need to return to the
understanding of the
Companions (may Allah be pleased with all of them).
The problem with the statement of the brother Sohaib Saeed (may Allah
guides him) is that ignorant brothers attracted with such concept said:
Sopahan Allah!!! Can you read this!!!!!
"Interesting to note that in the above verse of the Qur'an, the Prophet Lut
(peace be upon him) is clearly described as a brother of his people"
But this ignorant brother did not stop there, rather he added:
"The same people who were engaged in acts of perversion."
Au'dhubillah!!!!
Dear SINCERE brothers and sisters, you may have understood then why I
needed to do the introduction, to first explain the fact that if we disagree
over anything we have to return to the Book of Allah and The Authentic
Sunnah of the Prophet Muhammed (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him)
as the Companions understood it.
Now the questions that I am asking:
1. Did the Companions and the Scholars of tafseer among the Righteous Salafs
understood those verses as Sohaib Saeed understood it?
2. Who is more suitable to have the correct understanding:
AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbass (may Allah be pleased with him), a big Companion of
the Prophet Mohammed (peace and blessing of Allah be upon him),
or Sohaib Saeed...?
Anyone can easily understand who is right and who is wrong, however, only
the blind follower will not understand because he is already blind...
The answer can be easily found in the tafseer akhee!! So let see what it was
said on this....
Allah Sopahanuhu wa Ta'ala said (Surah 26 verse 161 to 163):
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ لُوطٌ أَلَا تَتَّقُونَ
"When their brother Lot said to them, "Will you not fear Allah ?"(161)
'AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) said in his tafseer:
إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ } نبيهم { لُوطٌ أَلا تَتَّقُونَ } عبادة غير الله }
'AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) said in
his tafseer (translation of his tafseer between brackets):
When their brother (their Prophet) Lot said to them,
"Will you not fear Allah ? (by worshipping other than Allah)
Elhamdulellah, it is clear enough, but I will clarify more, inshaAllah, why
excatly the brotherhood can ONLY be in faith.
In another link you will find that Sohaib Saeed tried to justify why he can
claim a brotherhood in humanity: http://quranica.com/2011/12/09/brotherhood/
He used other verses but giving the same translation without returning to the
understanding of the Salafs Saalih.
Let do the same check inshaAllah:
* Surah 7 Verse 65:
"And to the 'Aad [We sent] their brother Hud"
Tafseer of 'AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him):
وإلى عَادٍ } وأرسلنا إلى عاد { أَخَاهُمْ }
نبيهم { هُوداً قَالَ يَاقَوْمِ اعبدوا الله } وحدوا الله
"And to the 'Aad": and We sent to the 'Aad
"their brother": their Prophet
* Surah 7 Verse
65:
"And to the Thamud [We sent] their brother Salih."
Tafseer of 'AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbas
(may Allah be pleased with
him):
وإلى ثَمُودَ } وأرسلنا إلى ثمود { أَخَاهُمْ } نبيهم
"And to the Thamud ": and We sent to the Thamud
"their brother": their Prophet
* Surah 7 Verse
85:
" And to [the people of] Madyan [We sent] their brother Shu'ayb."
Tafseer of 'AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him):
وإلى مَدْيَنَ } وأرسلنا إلى مدين { أَخَاهُمْ } نبيهم
" And to [the people
of] Madyan": We sent to Madyan
"their brother": their Prophet
* Surah 26 Verse
106:
" When their brother Noah said to them, "Will you not fear Allah ?"
Tafseer of 'AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him):
{ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُمْ أَخُوهُمْ } نبيهم { نُوحٌ }
" When their brother": their Prophet
So all the verses that contains the words "their brother", 'AbdAllah Ibn
'Abbass (may Allah be pleased with him and his father) ALWAYS said that
"their brother" refers to "their Prophet".
Imam Al Bukhari reported in his saheeh (in the book of knowledge)
the narration from 'AbdAllah Ibn 'Abbass
(may Allah be pleased with him and his father) who said:
"Once the Prophet embraced me and said,
"O Allah! Bestow on him the knowledge of the Book (Qur'an).""
We all know, wal
hamdulellah, that the invocations of the Prophets and
Messengers are accepted by Allah The Most High.
After reading that saheeh hadith from Imam Al Bukhari,
the "so-called reasoning" of Sohaib Saeed can be thrown in the bin...
Wal hamdulellah, wa Allahu A'lam, wa salat wa salam 'ala rassulillah.
...After this clarification, let's destroy, insha Allah,
all his "personnal reasoning on the concept of brotherhood in humanity"...
please read inshaAllah the next article with more proofs: "Refutation (1b)"
